原建筑的大门朝北，其貌不扬

是将大门改向南向

既符合中国人的居住朝向习惯

也为后续的空间改造埋下伏笔

先打，再转，再游，可居可赏，处处有景

The original north-facing entrance

was plain and unremarkable

The designer's first move

turn it south — 

not only to follow the Chinese ideal orientation

but also to foreshadow

the spatial transformation to come

Break, turn, wander —

a home both livable and scenic

with a view at every step

设计师用一条艺术长廊作为空间的序章

初入时，尺度并不张扬

但每走一步，视线便打开一分

通过曲径通幽的转换

让归家从一种物理行为

升格为一次心理仪式

中国人表达含蓄，先抑后扬

如果经过这样一个转换形式

一天的疲惫就可以切换成另一种模式

An art corridor serves as the spatial prelude

Upon entry, the scale feels restrained

with each step, the view slowly widens

Through this winding, secluded passage

returning home is elevated from routine to ritual

Restraint before revelation —

the Chinese way of subtlety

After such a transition

the day's fatigue switches 

to a different mode entirely

the essence of a luxury home
lies not in stacking lavish materials
but in the precise division of movement
Here, three routes are planned —
service, guest, and master —
each independent, never crossing

一栋3000㎡的别墅

从设计到落地花了一年多时间

设计师回忆——从设计到施工完成

他跑现场跑了五六十次

每一道工种、每一个细节逐一对接

做了很多次方案

一次又一次地去推敲

才得出最终的比例

A 3,000㎡ villa —
from design to completion, over a year
The designer recalls:
fifty, sixty site visits
aligning every trade, every single detail
Countless drafts
endless refinements —
only then did the final proportions emerge
